This set is from the first time I did an erotic shoot with Toxic Goddess Shadow, it was on this day that she won us over and we knew we wanted Shadow to be a Toxic Goddess. These photos also have the distinction of being yet another set that we took in Oklahoma City’s own Conservatory.

I really love the space we shot in. The red walls, concert posters, battered interior and confined space made for a very interesting backdrop. I chose what I call horror lighting, which is a direct light from the ground. Given Shadow’s outfit, the surroundings and Shadow’s own style, I thought this lighting would be both dramatic and flattering.

At the end I moved her very close to the light, and the photos take on an almost chrome look. I like how the red wall, Shadow’s ivory skin and her midnight black hair play against each other in the blown-out lighting.

Shadow shows her penchant for posing sultry at times and sweet at other times. You can’t help but notice that tattoo of Bettie Page on her shoulder and see her influence in what she gave me. Even at this early stage you can see that she has a powerful command of expressions.

This is one of Toxic Goddess Shadow’s first sets. We were simply trying to get some shooting done and learn how eachother worked. Shadow is really great at Classic Pin-Up style and I think she really started to find her style and attitude in this set.

It’s been great seeing her develop as a model and she’s always a joy to shoot.

As a side note: this is our anniversary month so we’ll be posting several bonus updates this month. Expect to see every current Toxic Goddess in an update this month as well as the return of familiar face.

When you have a cool location it can bring a whole new dimension to a shoot. We went back to The Conservatory in OKC and they happened to be doing some construction. The wall screamed for a shoot.

Shadow played well within the space. It was also the last shoot of the day and some bands were going to be showing up to set up to play that night. So we were a bit hurried but Shadow delivered none-the-less.

Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year here around Toxic Goddess. So much of what we do is about fantasy and pop culture that we fit quite naturally into this holiday. So here’s a little bit of crazed, murderous pictures for you guys.

I’m a huge fan of horror and Tales from the Crypt style stories. I first discovered these types of stories with Twisted Tales published by Pacific Comics back in the 80’s. The short horror stories with a twist and sometimes small moral message have long been an inspiration for me. This set is kind of homage to those stories and the movie Creepshow.

Shadow really did a great job combining classic pin-up with an edge of dementia. Her smile is infectious and when you add a knife it becomes pretty scary. So this is a nice little bit of sex and death. Enjoy.

Shadow has such a Classical Pin-up style. I think this set showcases that skill in a resounding fashion. She makes shooting fun and displays her great smile with ease. I think for her, shooting for Toxic Goddess is a lot of fun and I think it shows.

The shoot is pretty much a beauty shoot but, I wanted to showcase her Pin-up style. Up until now we’ve spotlighted her skills in other styles of shooting. She has plenty more wonderful and diverse shoots coming. So stay tuned.

With this set we welcome the lovely Toxic Goddess Shadow. I think that she combines a Classic Pin-up style with a modern twist. So it was a no brainer to do a shoot where she works her magic and I simply help to give it an edge.

Working with Shadow is fun and it’s fairly easy to get solid images. She has a wonderful smile and her charms are evident. I’m quite happy that she has joined our little family.

The set name means “little death” and works in more than one way. So while I didn’t set out with that title in mind it works well. Enjoy!
