Colorridor (color+corridor) is simply an attempt to make something interesting from the mundane. Vanity and I were at a regular house that was in between occupants in a cold December. I love shooting in locations because it offers so much potential. In this case a simple hallway with all sorts of junk strewn around allowed us to play around some (it was  a bit more tidy when we got there but it was much more interesting as a mess).

Vanity took a simple body-suit (that became so much more once she put it on) and I threw in some creative color. From there she delivered. The shoot is an experiment in so many ways; from the color which didn’t always cooperate (hence the red lights not always firing) to Vanity’s use of a limited space. I think it is always a good idea to try and see beyond what’s in front of you. Sometimes mistakes happen but those can add to the creative vibe of a shoot if you let them.

I feel that some shots from this set are really beautiful, some sexy and a couple are a bit weird. However, I like that there’s a variety and I even cut a few that for one reason or another just didn’t fit. Maybe someday, they’ll see the light of day. Until then, enjoy.
